Giving Back

Besides offering outstanding products and service, Seattle Drip “Serves Others” in it’s communities through corporate sponsorship in various ways.

Seattle Drip supports Ballet Magnificat, FCA, local sports, and numerous mission efforts.

In additional to local ministiries, our mission is to directly help and impact the honorable and hard working people in coffee producing countries who make it possible for Seattle Drip to serve our families, customers and communities.  We currently support or are members of the following organizations:

Micro Loans Through Kiva

In partnership with Kiva.org, Seattle Drip has established "The Seattle Drip Lending Team" to provide Micro-Loans to entrepreneurs in coffee producing countries.  Kiva's mission is to connect people through lending for the sake of alleviating poverty. With the world's first person-to-person micro-lending website, Kiva empowers individuals to lend to unique entrepreneurs around the globe.  The video at left explains how this powerful program works.

The people you see on Kiva's site are real individuals. When you browse entrepreneurs' profiles on Kiva, choose someone to lend to, and then make a loan, you are helping a real person make great strides towards economic independence and improve life for themselves, their family, and their community. Throughout the course of the loan (usually 6-12 months), you can receive email journal updates and track repayments. Then, when you get your loan money back, you can relend to someone else.

You can partner with us in this worthy cause by making micro-loans thru the Seattle Drip Lending Team at Kiva.  Please visit our team page at Kiva.org, Community, Seattle Drip Coffee Company!
